Getting Back to Normal: Care by Putting Patients First

If there is one positive thing that can be taken from the COVID pandemic, it is the opportunity to step back and reassess how our healthcare systems provide care. Whether uncovering areas for improvement, beginning to address health inequalities, or creating new opportunities for collaboration, COVID has demonstrated the strengths and weaknesses of our systems. As we return to treatment, care, and life, we have a chance to do so in a more open and honest way that puts patients first and uses their experiences to make healthcare better.
